May get a Triumph starter bike in May

Think I may do this finally.

I looked at this one back in January and have been practicing on my brother's bike lately.

Seat's only 30" high, plus the bike has a narrow frame which makes it even more comfortable and controllable for me, given my height.

Bike is 450lbs wet, and 67hp. MSRP is $8800.

Triumph has many far sexier bikes, but I need to start slow.

eh if I was badass enough to roll an eyetalian bike it'd be an Aprilia.

I'm excited about my little Triumph though. Enough power to have a bit of fun, but not kill myself.

I don't think I'm man enough for a Monster either. I like your Triumph though. I can't get a bike now if I wanted to, too risky and I got my little guy to think of.

Fun doesn't come w/o risk. I've always driven fast cars. I'm always careful, but it's better to die doing what you love than live an unfulfilled, boring life, right?

One thing I cannot ever see myself doing though is ride on the interstate. If I really wanted to go on a roadtrip I would absolutely plan a route using state highways. Other thing is use my bike to commute to work. Always very heavy traffic those times of day and that's just asking for it. Some ass is gonna not see you and then yer fuckt.

it's got a 30" seat, so I could almost totally flat foot it, Shirl. Everything but my heels on the ground. The Bonneville SE was even lower, but I like the really old school seat profile of the T100

Here's the bike I'm getting the first week of May. This guy's Bonnie has the performance package I'm adding to mine. Adds only about 13hp, but gives it a great sound.
