what's your thoughts on ranger versus sf? both were there taking volunteers when i was at AIT, but I didnt volunteer for either because i was supposed to have an ASI follwing graduation and I couldnt go RIP without being active army (some states do have SF units in the national guard).
i know the SF people are hardcore...our 1SG is 42 and was in SF for close to 19 years before he was hurt on a jump and quit, because he didnt want to be part of a unit if he couldnt jump. anyways, this man a 10:05 on his 2 mile for his pt test, and that's at 42. supposedly, many of the guys who go to SFAS are in the same type of endurance shape....i know i am not in that type of shape endurance wise, but i do have the drive.
wow, i totally digressed on that one.
