your first site is going to suck balls and people a going to get a head ache from reading bright text from a dark background (common beginer mistake) so at first it will suck.
once you have a bearable site you will have to work on ease of navigation,, too complicated to get around? too much time to load? too many broken links? you LOST ME! I JUST WENT TO A DIFFERENT SITE!
ok so once your site is navigable and people feel like spending some time there, you will have to begin to market to them, how? baners links, are you selling aproduct direcly? a memebership? what?
once you get a product or subscription that you are selling you will have to figure out your conversion rate..... Conversion rate= How many people visit & How many people buy?? if your conversion rate is at about 1-3% then you are on the right track, if you get 1 out of every 100 visitors to buy something then you have a winner...... once you acheive 1% convertion wich will happen after many months of tweaking and testing diferent sales letters and forms... you will have to take you 1% conversion and look to invets into buying traffic, Google Ad Words, Elite Fitness, ect. you can then figure out how much you are willing to spend to bring in a new visitor $0.40 per click is about average, sometimes $1 for more "Qualified trafic", once you have stablished a budget to buy traffic then you will be ready to buy some clicks.
Qualified trafic or qualified hits are the best to buy since you know they have money to spend.... reaching a 7-10% conversion rate is not uncommon when purchasing qualified trafic.
Qualified Trafic= People that have money to spend and actualy will example elite Fitness Plat memebers, we know they have money and are willing to spend, it would cst you more $$$ to have GS send out n e-mail to these people than to the free-loaders that will never dip into their pockes. so you will pay more to market to Qualified traffic.
