Lower bicep tendonitis - Can I still do push exercises?

I've got lower(distal) bicep tendonitis. I will be taking at least a month off pull exercises which means back and biceps.

Can I still do push (chest, shoulders, triceps) exercises, or will this effect my bicep tendonitis?

Can I continue doing dead lifts? Will this put any strain on it?

Can you still grip a barbell or dumbell without discomfort? If yes then I don't see why not if there is some slight pain then time off is the only option.. there is no cure only rest.

As for deads I would avoid them.

try using press machines and find a grip that does not cause pain.
this has worked for me with a similar injury.
the machines are not a good substitute for free weights but when it comes to working around an injury - they can help.
consider using some tb-500 and high dosing VIT c WITH PROLINE to help with the healing.
