Lower back pumps killing me!

Hey guys...

Ok so my current cycle is 500mg prop E/W and 50mg Var ED. I am a powerlifter so obviously i do a lot of squat and deadlifting. I am just starting week 3 of the cycle and I am getting crippling lower back pumps!!

Like I cant walk for 5 mins without getting uncomfortable pumps so you can imagine what a squat or deadlift session is like!!! I've tried stretching the hams and low back - no dice, the only thing that helps is lying down between sets which looks pretty wierd in the gym...

A friend said it was water bloat in the low back - I havnt really used any AI or est control so far on the cycle but I do have Adex on hand. I have had no gyno symptoms or anything so I dont know if my est is too high, but if it WAS water bloat in the low back causing the pump maybe taking .25mg Adex EOD would sort it out?

The good news is that my BW is up by around 10lbs and just this week the strength gain has started to kick in so if I can just nail this Est or back pump problem I will feel like things are going well.

Thank you in advance - I have total confidence in this forum.

could be bloat, could just be increased blood volume.. my lower back pumps are killer right now and im just taking a few of needto's products.. take in lots of water, try 0.25mg of Arimidex every third day, and cut out salt and refined sugars..

what does your diet look like??

When i get them i stretch my lower back by putting my feet together and arching forward and grabbing my ankles... massaging also helps ALOT inbetween sets (put your hands on your hips your thumbs on your back and arch slightly backwards while rotating your thumbs up and down) :)

Do me AND YOU a favor. Take one of those var pills and drop some sulfuric acid on one. If it turns a bloody purple color then you have d-bol instead of var which explains the lower back issue a lil better.

i think i may have gotten dbol too. i ran anavar 80mg ed for like 3 months with a good carb cycling diet, cardio twice a day and wasnt as shredded as i expected. i also ran prop @100mg eod ad winny at 50mg ed. i got better results on test e at 250mg ew and t3 (25mcg to 100mcg back to 25mcg). those lower back pumps were killing me.

Only reason I say this is theres alot of cheap pieces of shit out there subbing d-bol for var. They'll dispense it at a lower dose per pill to fool you better. Plus that is a classic symptom of d-bol too.

I get severe low back pumps with Test. Enanthate 500 mg per week and growth hormone (4iu after workouts IM [about 20 iu per week]).

I have to do some stomach crunches in between my squat sets to relieve the tension. At least I'm getting more ab work in.

Having my girlfriend walk on my lower back for 15 minutes or so does wonders too.

Only way i've been able to get rid of back pumps is to lower your dosage. I know how miserable you feel and trust me it sux balls. a AI will certainly help with it. If i take Var or Winny at high dosages i get it.

I will try the adex. I dont eat a lot of salt or refined sugar....

Diet is carb cycling - high carb days on training days (~450g carbs and 250g protein, no fat) and low carb days every other day (~150g carbs, 300g protein and 50g good fats)

I don't have any sulfuric acid im afraid.

I just done a quick search on-line and it doesnt seem like it occurs much in any household products i am likely to have lying around either?

Is there anything else i can use?

I definately haven't seen any of the shredding effect people talk about off var, quite the opposite in fact which would suggest the dbol theory could be right, although the guy I used is well established, well known and well trusted.

I get this problem all the time when I bulk up. I really feel it is from gaining a rapid amount of weight in short time peroid. There are probably other factors such as tight hamstrings, tight low back, weak abs etc then contribute to it. But I feel the problem is aggravated by rapid weight gain. Because the only time I get it is when I am bulking up. Anyone else have this problem that has any ideas because it sucks. I have to lay flat on my back as well or I get on the hyper extension machine and stretch.

I am not an expert. I am only observing and suggesting that the lower back pumps are probably your kidneys. Anytime you take chemicals that effect your body, it dehydrates you putting stress on your kidneys and we all know that lifting dehydrates the shit out of us regardless. I would suggest some type of hydrating fluid like pedialite or even cytomax. It needs to be something without a stimulant, because a stimulant will dehydrate you and you'll be back at square one with hella back pumps. If you dont believe me, as most of you will not, ask a doctor about your lower back pain without even mentioning the roids.

I feel for you bro, it was dealifts for me yesterday and the pumps where insane, it took me 20mins to walk home and I live 5mins away from the gym, I dont know if I like or dislike the feelin of lower back pumps to be honest but when it gets intense I hate it! I found drinking a few pints of water and streching helped alot.

Taurine Taurine Taurine and more Taurine. I am a victim of horrible horrible lower back pains when on Var or Beastdrol, the kind that makes it almost impossible to even get out of bed in the morning.

6g of Taurine was literally working like a miracle, eliminating like 90% of the lower back pump. I can actually deadlift again. Trust me on this one get some Taurine.

Where did you get the dosage of 6g? Or is this trial and error?
Not busting just wondering how much I should start with as the average natural intake per day is <500mg...

It's nothing at all to do with the kidneys. I stay well hydrated at all times, yet the back pumps persist.

It's the extensor (erector) spinae muscles which feel pumped. The feeling is pretty much identical to what you'd feel after doing 20 reps on the back extension machine with added weight. Any exercises which work these muscles intensifies the pump.

PS. Mine is GH induced.

I wonder if this is the cause of my pain. I'm only on testosterone and I've never gotten it from that. My back is fine when I'm squatting but walking 50 yards makes me wish I was in a wheelchair.
