Loving unconditionally ...

Here is one that has been floating in and out of my life recently.

I watched 7th Heaven tonight for the first time and the show was about the oldest boy meeting this beautiful Jewish girl who's father was a Rabii.
His father is a minister in the Prodestant faith.
They had just met and were thinking about getting married the day after meeting each other..
The Jewish family said that they wanted their daughter to marry a Jewish man and had real problems with her not doing so...
The boy's family hasn't even found out that she is Jewish yet...
Anyway, they go to dinner with each other and really hit it off with each other and he decides to propose to her right there at dinner...
Question: What are all of your opinions on this type of behavior?

I recently have had a close friend denounce his faith as a Catholic to marry a Jewish woman...
He had to go to Israel to do so...

I believe if you love someone enough then you will do what it takes to be with that person above all religions and faiths...

What do you believe????

i was in love one time.... i would have given up anything.... anything for her....

long story short.. i left for the navy... we were still together.. she cheated on me with a few dudes... the end...

anyway... yes.... if i loved someone unconditionally... i'd give up anything for them...

If someone i truly devoted to their faith then they would choose their religion over a person. BUT, I also think that 95% of religion in this world is off base anyway.

I agree...I would do anything and everything for my significant other..and I know that he would do the same for me. If you love someone enough...then you can work through anything.

if they love you, then they should accept you for all the good and the bad. You wouldn't need to give up anything because of them, but it doesn't mean you wouldn't.

i dont see a problem with two people of different faiths being in love.

love doesnt have a religion and people should not be so judgemental about this shit,it is not thier decision.
