Losing your size and strength after quiting AAS?

bicepts101 said:
read the post i quoted...dial tone said he stopped training for a long period of time.

train harder huh?...thats the solution....thank for clearing that up

PitBull Bob knows what he's talkin' 'bout........don't give him shit.

Also, if you're relying on Dial Tone for cycle advice, you've got alot more to learn.......

What works for him will not necessarily work for you.

im not relying on anyone for cycle advise and im not knockin the knowledge of pittbull...saying to just work out harder is not very good motivation....why not go futher into detail instead of being a dick

Yep....train harder smart guy. That's the answer. I mean I know you have Anabolic Steroidoligist as your self imposed title, and you do pay a whole $11.00 a month for your flashing platinum status, but some of us actually know what were talking about. Roll your eyes somewhere else Doc. :)

yeah i support the site..so what the fuck does that have to do with anything?....do you think people who have platinum account think they hav knowledge simply cause they're platinum?....and refer to the other post for knowing what you are talking about...thats good though it adds to your argument, a lot of possitives.

if you have trouble holding on to mass naturally how can u just say work out harder?....that is one of many things that needs to be done..not just work out harder....somebody could be working out as hard as arnold but eats chocolate cream pie and french fries for a post workout meal. or is eating great but simply isnt eating enough, or he sleeps 4 hours a night....now im sure you know as this, as im not knocking your knowledge...but do you understand why i responded the way i did about, "work out harder"....there are just too many variables to try and pin point the problem solver

Not to hijack this thread but what if you use relatively "heavy" cycles for a few years until you worked up to your ideal physique, and then used very mild cycles for the rest of your life? Could you in this way retain all that you have gained?

In theory, yes.

You'd have to change up your training like always and maintain your diet, but yes, it's possible to keep a certain level physique for life.

A couple heavy cycles every now and then would probably help too.

This question is for vets that have been big I mean like around 250lbs or over reaching IFBB heavyweight pro size. After you quit juicing did you lose most or all of your strength and size? The reason I ask this question is because I keep hearing from people that supposedly know people that were huge and as soon as they quit juicing they lost everything?

I have a hard time believing a guy thats 6'0 240-250lbs huge and shredded that claims to be all natural though.

you'll loose it, its normal
