losing fat without cardio

do u all think i can lose a significant amount of fat in a pretty short time frame if i stick to a 1500 cal diet and 2-3 days of weights. (no cardio)per week. my job makes it very tough to fit cardio in. (if i come home dead tired isnt it better that i rest my body in between days rather than push myself-which is in a sense setting myself up for becoming sick? I am almost 23, 5'8 ,roughly 155 lb (give or take a few depending on how much water i'm holding onto). thanks!
 
So you are too busy to do cardio for 20 minutes?

You should still lose weight lifting 3 days a week. Don't expect too much from only 2 days.

When was the last time you followed a really strict clean diet?
Yes, you can make lifting more anaerobic to help lose fat.

What's your diet like now and what do you intend for your diet to be now?
In what amount of time do you expect/hope to lose what amount of weight or body fat %?
 
sure you can. lifting weights burns calories just like riding a bike just like doing gardening work outside your home. eat clean healthy foods and eat moderate amounts of it. i only do cardio for heart health... other than that, i burn enough calories and fat just from lifting and eating right.
