Looking for a new gym!No designer GYMS! Chicagoland area. Skokie, Niles, Glenview??

Im looking for a new gym in my area. Anyone know of any gyms that are not designer gyms? Im sick of my gym (x-sport fitness) because of all the pretty boy fags and kids just going to talk. Im looking for a hardcore gym in the area. One that I can look like crap, and train my bals off. Anyone? Im in the niles, skokie, glenview, mortongrove, des-planes area. Thanks

I used to live in Morton Grove, and trained at the YMCA on Touhy in Niles. I dont know if the weight room in the basement is still there. But if it is you should check it out. All heavy free weight stuff, nothing fancy, just the smell of rubber and rusted iron!!

Quads is the gym Ed Coan trained out of for years. It's a fairly nice setup to house a serious PL contingent but many serious trainers there. I particularly thought the picture of Ed's back next to the squat rack was inspirational. You can see the calouses left by the bar - plus with a 901 dead at 220 his back is fairly impressive.
