Long esters and short cycles.

I am no chemist or biologist and I have a hard time understanding on why people say that long ester roids needs long cycles to be effective?

Can someone explain the difference on doing Test prop 100mg ED for 6 weeks or doing Test Enan 700 mg ew for 6 weeks?

The prop would kick in fast, but it will leave the system fast aswell right?

So week 1-6 of prop should be the same as week 3-9 of enan in my simplified roid world?

Explain why it aint so and explain why long esters need long cycles to be effective please.

Long esters require longer cycles because of the time it takes for the AAS to build up and become effective. There is no point running enanthate for a short cycle (less than 6 weeks) because the ester usually takes around 5 weeks to start kicking in noticeably.

Shorter Test esters will build up your test levels faster, so they are well suited to short cycles where immediate results can be obtained.

You are correct that the half life is lower on a shorter ester, which is why you must inject more often. I.e. with Test Suspension, you would be injecting twice a day for the best results.

test enanthate takes about 4-5 weeks to kick in. it takes 2 weeks to clear your system. you are losing 3 weeks. so your 12 week cycle of test e is in reality only 9 week cycle.

Alright this makes sense to me, so a 6 week test prop cycle is comparable to a 8-9 week enan cycle then.

"kick in" thing is bullshit. Steroids start working within hours, you can look up the data on blood levels. Just because it is felt later doesnt mean it is not kicking.

Even with cyp, I see gains immidiately and my next cycle is only 6 weeks with very long esters.

Long esters over time tend to cause high plasma levels of the drug. That's why one holds more water on sust than they would on prop.

either= sust., Test-E, Test-C,
either= Deca, EQ, Tren-H, Tren-E

6 weeks on/ 6 weeks off/w pct

I prefer the 6 on/ 4 off
And repeat over and over till desired

Well, most people would consider 'feeling it' the equivalent of saying it has 'kicked in'...

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!

There is no such thing as something taking weeks to "kick in". What you use on day one will be long gone by that. How can it possibly kick in after 4 weeks?!?!

Short acting esters are just that-- short acting. The only advantage is that they're a little more potent mg per mg (since there's "room" being taken up by the ester which allows it to remain longer). But not much -- maybe a few mgs more. That's why prop hits a little harder. It's in the bloodstream at full potency within minutes instead of hours and is a little higher concentration. Some say that also cause less water retention. But that's it.

Ultimately, I think short acting esters are a bit pointless for cycles over a few weeks -- unless you just love injecting daily.
