by that I assume you mean you come and go at your leisure as long as your work is getting done. and if you work over a certain # of hours you can take the time back as well? i think that's pretty much true for any professional position. I come and go like that as well - i decide if im leaving early (rarely do) and if I have to leave in the middle of the day for a PT appt (like tomorrow), etc and if I have to work anytime outside normal hours (like training peeps on the weekens which we did recently) then I take days off during the week to make up for that time and it's all pretty flexible. but I have a professional position and so do you I presume. we're both college educated and we arent shift workers. shift workers have a different arrangement and they are non-exempt (hourly) employees.swole said:i have flex hours HAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

One of the things that I have always hated about how many Americans just coast through life, doing just enough to get by, spend their money on all sorts of stupid shit, are up to their asses in debt then have THE AUDACITY to bitch about "foreigners" coming to the US and busting their asses (we are talking the playpen is in the store while 80 yr/old grandma is stocking shelves) and *surprize* *surprize* THEY ACTUALLY GET SOMEWHERE.
Being self-employed is definitely not easy (though those who work for someone else all seem to think it is).
If it were easy NO ONE would work for someone else.

Sure, but you have to admit your husband was a CEO and has an overall "success" type character or something like that which means his brokeness was temporary. Kind of like how trump has declared bankruptcy before and look at him now.BIKINIMOM said:LOL
Married into wealth? Who told you that?
How many times do I have to say it, "When I married my husband he was as broke a broke dick dog as a broke dick dog gets. The bastard was HOMELESS when we married. My sister even paid for our wedding rings."

Theres a difference between broke and poor, broke is temporary, poor is usually forever. Obviously this doesnt mean youre a golddigger but you definetely knew he wouldnt be broke for long.
