List 5 Inventions/Innovations That Have Changed Your Life in the last 10 Years

Past 10 years... The only thing I can think of which I can say changed my life, is Facebook. It reconnected me with friends I hadn't talked with since Reagan was in office, and I have gotten various business deals, and even got stuck with several animal rescues over FB. For the sake of the thread's title, 4 more might be the iPhone (first "phone" device I've ever used for more than just talking on), the OBD II automotive computer & code scanning system (been around since '95, but I became aware of it in the past 10 years); the digital X-ray and CT-scan (no more carrying huge films from doctor to doctor), 4g wireless internet (I was on dial-up until last year because it's all we could get here!!!).

I forgot GPS! getting started here would have been much harder without my GPS, or google maps for that matter. My old GPS died on me in the middle of Orlando and I freaked out, was able to get bck on track with a map I had, but I had to take like 4 tolls :D

Big Green Egg is that good eh, I thought about one of those, pretty expensive though aren't they?

Yeah, they are ridiculously expensive, however, there is nothing like them. You can cook anything on them. Low n slow for an all day rib smoke, whole roasts (you would die how freaking good a roast is in it) fish, seafood, shit ive made pizza on it. its well insulated (ceramic exterior)
they have a 10 year no bullshit gaurantee...I wanted one, but didnt want to pay $1200 for a damn charcoal grill. I was garage sale hopping with wifey, and this lady has one brand new still had sales shit etc. I tell her Ill give you $300 cash right now...I think she thought I was crazy, I even told her that they were frickin expensive, she tells me I seem honest and sells it to me. Thought about selling it, but after the 1st time using it...omg!!! amazing!
