Liposuction to augment training

your diet may be the problem, when you are always on a low cal and low fat diet, your body cuts down on ridding fat when exercising. i would talk to a personal trainer and a nutrionist if i was you. forget the atkins diet and all the other junk. do cardio about 5 times a week with a intesity about 45 min/each session. try to minimize the carb input gradually, don't worry as much about fats just dont eat the bad ones. liposuction is definetly the easy way out and i have heard it will not give you what you are looking for.
first thing you gotta do is just be happy with your self, and say fuck it, why pay that much money for that.

well I guess Im one of the lazy ones people in prior replies are speaking of. I did ultrasound lipo of the enire trunk last year. Im 30 always had problems with my lower abds and became friends with a plastics doc. I got the abs, flanks, and lower back done for 2500. If your cutting and using GH, it does not take long to run up that number. It took about 2.5 months for the swelling to go away but I was in the gym in 3 days. Working abs again in 4 weeks. It was the single most dramatic change I have ever done. Bare in mind, I was already in very good shape(5'10"@230) with decent abs. As stated by prior replies, there are risks involved but then again if you using juice....... If your like me and you have the $, research a good plastics doc, check out before and after pics, speak to people who actually had it done, and go from there.......The Freak

re: BIG_I_69 asking how it felt

I was awake and talking (but don't remember it now). The operation is painless and can be done with just local (totally awake), intrevenous sedation where you are stoned, or some doctors put you out completely. Anyway, I didnt feel anything.

Hey Genetic Freak - Did you end up with what you wanted? You said it made the most dramatic difference. How do you mean? Do your abs look cut?

I had lipo about 6 years ago, it was a huge success, it is actually the only way some of us can “spot reduce”.

My advice is that before you have surgery you diet to the absolute maximum and lose as much fat as humanly possible. This will only accelerate or enhance the effect of the surgery and you will get better long term results.

At the time I had the surgery I was in my mid 40's
:)

Lipo not a bad idea for some

At 41 yrs old, I finally had enough of the endless battle around the middle and had the lipo done about 4 months back and really like the results. He did the whole flank and got about seven pounds off. I was in decent shape at the time but overweight no doubt. Prior to the surgery I took off some weight and have dropped more since. All I can say is I look and feel about 10 years younger.

Research is showing that lipo can lower cholosteral, reduce insulin resistance, lower estrogens, etc. There may be other enzyme benefits.

So if you are at a point where you feel you have done everything practical to lose that gut and still no luck getting the cells sucked out is not that bad an idea, and may have health benefits besides cosmetic. Just check around and get a good doctor.

You will be more aware of what is left after the procedure and it may not be perfect in appearance but probably only you will notice those things. Any imperfections will just make you more aware of your condition. The leaner you are the better it will look, because as somebody mentioned, the fat distribution afterwords may not be entirely even. Thus you can't let yourself go after the surgery without risking an odd appearance. The swelling will go away gradually over 3-9 months, there is a sensitivity to sodium that develops in the areas that were done. I had it done in April and was at the pool three months later.

It is true the internal body fat is still there and you will want to work it off, but it is easier to burn than the visceral fat as most of you know if you think about you dieting experiences.

You guys are so quick to list all kinds of drugs to use for fat reduction and then you say Lipo is the "Easy Way" implying that it is in some way cheating. C'mon. Steroids, HGH, and all these other drugs are exactly the same thing except they are chemical and this is physical. In the long term, lipo is definately safer to the body and organs than the chemical options. I am not passing judgement on any of this. I have used steroids and I'm glad i did. Gave me (started at 155 lbs) a chance to get to 185 and I looked great. I am passing no moral judgements here. Just be honest about what you are doing. I believe that chemicals used under professional supervision (most of you guys have become armchair pharmacists) and surgery by qualified and skilled physicians - are all viable ways to achieve what we are trying to achieve here (which by the way, might not be such a lofty goal to begin with).

Anyway, my surgery looks fantastic. Only 6 days post-op and I finally have a tapered upper body. The abdoman is FLAT and the lovehandles are GONE. I am still puffy and swollen so I expect that it will look even better when the swelling goes down. I am BLOWN AWAY. It is the best thing I've done. I feel so relieved. No more fighting that bulge. As I said, I am not overweight. My BF is approx 12 to 15% unless you included my lower belly fold in the measurements. Then it WAS 22%. So now, no roll. No flab. My weight (fat) was stable before, so I have no reason to believe that I will get fatter now - AND i will be MORE motivated in my workout because I won't have that constant scrutiny and dissappointment about the belly during the workout.
I am going to start working out on Monday. Doc. said I could but obviously no abdomonals for 3 weeks. The muscles are starting to show through the swelling. I cant wait to do heavy abs in the gym and see what that looks like in a few weeks. So in summary - I am thrilled. There was a lot of fear and doubt before I did it but I'm glad I had the courage to go ahead with it.
