It was back in spring that I broke up with J...before that relationship I was single for almost 8 months, so it's not my MO to relationship hop at all...that's just how it worked out this time. I wasn't expecting or looking for things to work out the way they have, but I certainly wasn't going to pass up something good just because the timing was a little off.

Diving in and of itself is not dangerous....but it is completely unforgiving of carelessness, bravado, and impatience. Fact is I made an error that caused the entire incident.

heather...Steve is my buddy...but he had other people who's skills were more questionable who he also took on himself to look out for. He looked back constantly for me, but I was in a blind spot so to speak.

glad you're alive chica. i almost died in the great barrier reef during a dive when i was 12. scary shit, so i know what you're talking about. it was like divine intervention.

except i had to save myself. my instructor swam way the fuck off and didnt notice he kicked me in the face, stunned me and knocked the regulator out of my mouth and fucked up my mask. the way you described it brought me right back to that moment.
