Lestat, how can you have the sensational hope for equality in the world

Are you sure it was the prosecution that got rid of you? Voir dire is tough. Sometimes it is really hard to know what someone is going to do.
Yes, I was the 6th person that the prosecution excused. Defense got rid of the black women and anyone who was a cop or worked with them or had them in their family. Prosecution got rid of black men first, then older men with no children, then younger single men.

the Voir Dire was great when the attorney's took over. Prosecution was an assistant DA, one counsel, hot brunette, thin, dressed in a great suit with skirt not pants. single ring on left hand ring finger but no diamond. Worked the jury, particularly the men, very well.

Defense was young guy with goatee. Both he and prosecutor seemed to be young 30s, possibly late 20s even.

They asked great questions, open ended How and What questions. Repeated back to the jury their own answers to get more. It was brilliant. Young guy was very animated and used verbal and physical cues. It was like watching art.

Hmmmm...yeah. I don't think the defense should have excused the black women. They should have kept as many black people as possible, IMO. It technically is unconstitutional to use your pre-emptive strikes based on race, but I think most lawyers have done it at some time.

Do you denounce Astrology? ESP? Ghosts? Any religions?

I denouce any believes based on faith and not fact. I think they divide people more than anything, I think they condone violience, they ecourage ignorance.

I do think that one day, we as a people, humans, all of them, will be far more unified than we are now. Won't happen in any of our lifetimes, I'm thinking 100,000 years or more.

If we all started out as the same though, we should've stayed that way if it was meant to be.

equality and religion are in contradiction. the only way this planet will know peace and equality is to do away with religion, socioeconomic hierarchies and all truth with a capital T. it is not only erroneous to equate equality with religion, it is crazy. if you challenge this i will present 200 year old formal arguments pulverizing this position. not to be condescending but this is philosophy 101. religion and morality are mutually exclusive.
btw this planet will never know equality and peace, it is not in our nature. we can only hope for damage control.

No direct comparison intended on my part. I was merely saying that both are as hopeless, one due to lack of proof, and another due to human nature. And the damage control comes from each group having their own separate place in the world, without greed.

compeition for resources and ultimately power divided us. Still does...

the official reason the black women were excused were different than race im sure, the defense spend time questioning them on things they mentioned earlier (occupation mostly). The judge said that for that phase the prosecution and defense were not required to give any reason for their dismissals.

as agriculture slowly took over the hunting, the men were left "without a job". First they started watching the pots with grains and stuff and then they got bored with it and needed something to do. Warfare for them used to be a game. In short, thats how it all started. I dont feel like elaborating for 2 pages further in depth. :(

as long as the world is run by humans, it'll never be equal. . .personally, i kinda like most things the way they are. . .if every d00d had 21" guns, a 12" penis and a fat bank account wtf would be the sense in getting out of bed???

Promoting the type of equality many people hope for would eventually eliminate individuality. We'd basically be a race of machines. And the kicker is, to hope for true equality, that would mean getting to the root of the solution, which would be human thought. Since you cannot regulate/synchronize human thought (unless you want to create a world full of genetically engineered drones), this issue of equality results in a stalemate. Equality would ultimately backfire and basically enslave the entire human race. The main point to take away from it all is idealism is all a fantasy, and that we are actually better off believing in (one) god.
