I am a darwinian too. Even though I am trying to make sense of how to make science and spirituality work together......But, anyways, I admire the old pagan religions. They knew how to live in harmony with everything alive around them - flora and fauna and people. These strictly patriarchal organized religions scream out "disaster" and "superiority" from very far away. I wish they never came to existence

it is easy to coalesce science and spirituality. i am very SPIRITUAL..... not religious. the spirit of the universe reveals its nature in the form of love, compassion and understanding. you dont need a dogmatic philosophy with rewards and punishment to practice this. actually, dogmatic religion is counterproductive. if this life is all we have and there is no after life the sanctity of life is not diminished. we owe it to our fellow species to treat this world and its inhabitants with dignity and respect.....except for puddlemonkey, he must DIE.
