People ask me everyday; "What supplements(or steroids) do you use!?"
This is the very first question.
They don't ask "What is your macronutrient breakdown?" or "What type of training split do you utilize?". The very first thing that I am asked is what type of supplements am I using..
This mentality is abundant here at EliteFitness.com. There is an extreme misdirected focus on supplementation, to the point that is actually detrimental to one's bodybuilding progress.
Supplements are just that--SUPPLEMENTS. They are deisgned to ASSIST you in your bodybuilding goals. They will not get you there alone, and they certainly won't get you there if you don't have a firm understanding of bodybuilding basics--proper TRAINING AND DIET.
Constructing the perfect body requires absolute dedication, unwavering persistence, and an UTTER belief in oneself. But beyond the powerful character traits that are necessiated by the endeavor, building the perfect body also requires an INTIMATE knowledge of the human body and how it functions. We must understand the LAWS of the human body, as these laws are incontrovertible. These are the laws of Physiology.
It is this KNOWLEDGE of proper TRAINING and proper DIET that seperates the winners from the losers. Without this knowledge, one is HELPLESS.
