Has anyone seen the interview with Lee Priest in this months MD? He got an abcess from a winny inject into his delt. Got it lanced, etc, etc. may not compete this go round. just pretty nasty picture of seeing a tampon shoved into his delt. Wish it would mention what winny he was using, but it doesnt. Guess abscesses happen to the best of us ;)
 
I had 3 abscess. Yes, 3 abscess and finally after 2 years Im going to do a plastic surgeru on Oct 16 to remove the scars. Its was also from winstrols. My doc said that water based injectables are not very well absorbed by the muscle like oil is although I know this wasnt the reason why I had the abscess. I would like to see Lee Priest abscess pic
 
Does anyone think an abcess occurs because of too frequent use of one injection spot? Or is it just the luck of the draw?
 
abcesses are the result of a bacterial infection..........soemthing was not sterile. But you can get a sterile oil abcess from injecting too much oil in the same spot
 
I heard about 2 weeks ago that he dropped out of the olympia...i didnt know it was for an abcess, i thought it was because he was coming in around 200 pounds again and didnt think he would be judged fairly at that wieght
 
I thought he never intended to compete in the Olympia this year and has left the IFBB and went to some new organization. I read an interview where he said no more Joe Weider and his bullshit politics.

Man if thats how red and swollen an abcess is than I have had one and not even known it. I injected BD test e into my delt for the first time and my arms was redder and more swollen than his. I just toughed it out and it went away but left the area with a black and blue tint that has never gone away (its been 3 months).

I'm not a doc but I guess when you inject into the muscle you create a little pocket where the oil stays while is beong absorbed; If you don't give enough time to that muscle to heal, that pocket eventually will stay there with the muscle fibers around stretched; therefore, the oil instead of being fast absorbed due to the pressure around, it will stay there and will be absorbed at a lower pace...and that time is critical because any bacteria will reproduce very fast...but maybe I'm wrong...just my 2 cents.

this does make alot of sense and you would think that some serious massaging of the injection site would help this from happening
 
holy shit, my girl had an infection holy shit was that nasty fucking puss being squezzed out.


thy packed about 6 feet of gauze into it, VERY painful she said
 
while the docs were at it thye should have removed about 10ccs worth of synthol from lees biceps .

if anyone looks at that pic they would prob agree

na bro, that aint synthol, thats the swell you get when you get cellulitis. got it from some BD enanthate, my arm had a swollen sythol look took, but id never use that shit.
 
When you're poking yourself everyday for long ass periods of time then its bound to happen sooner or later.

Wonder why he didnt get it checked out earlier and get on some antibiotics?
 
It keeps growing. The pressure gets too painful and it has to be cut open. Also, the inside hardened pus has to be broken up and squeezed out. Nasty fucking shit, and I have to do it for a living lol.

So dsh89, an abcess cannot heal itself. It has to be drained?

Think you mentioned in another thread you work in an ER.
Ihulk injected his calf and his quad with T-E and then both swolled up like a balloon ... was worried I had some sort of abcess growing but eventually after a few days the swelling went down and I could walk normal again. Is that just a reaction from pucturing the muscle or the oil? or what?

once it gets to a golf ball size then it has to be drained. Happened to a friend of mine and he too had a few feet of gaus stuck in him. The doc said he pretty much could have died if he waited for it to spread inside of him.
 
Its only a matter of time. Three months ago I took shot of winny in right shoulder. I used compounded meds from rejuvenaiton clinic. After two days I could no lift arm and began to experience night sweats and fever. Not wanting to go to doctor, I had my boy drain arm with 18 guage needle which felt great, but by next morning fluid was back. That night I had 104 fever and went to doctor next morning. He lanced my arm and drained 60cc of fluid and pus our of right shoulder. Blood work confirmed staff infection which can be deadly. I had to pack the open wound for ten days with sterile gauze which had to be changed daily. Absesses are nothing to take likely because if staff develops you could be facing deadly symptoms. I belive it was from larger crystals of winny being forced into my arm??? or posibly a bad batch of winny from the pharmacy. Its no fun>>>
 
Those pics are pretty nasty......I have the remnants of an abcess in each glute...both are like 95% gone with no pain at all...but it's no fun when you go to aspirate before injecting and blood and whitish yellow pus fills the syringe..... :worried:
