Been months for me. Everytime I drive by the car wash, the line is out and down the street. F that. Id rather have my car look dirty than wait in a long ass line. Maybe I'll try today and since it's Sunday, hopefully the line wont be long - everyone will be at Church.

Bring a soft towel and do a quick wipe down and it'll look much better.

btw, I wash my own car with one bucket of water and no rinsing.

Mine's way overdue. My pant legs get dirty climbing in and out of my car.
There's so much damn construction in this city it's almost impossible to avoid mud puddles.

Do you have or have access to a garage?

Do you have a bucket?

Do you have warm water?

I know b/c I keep a very strict diary about my car washing adventures.. Plus last time I went I saw some guy kick 3 mexican's asses

Clients in the car = must impress & even intimidate them with my lifestyle...

It's called OCD. It is why you are, and will remain single.

and that really works? I have considered the water bucket, but i hear thats bad because you rub grit into the paint. same might happen with the quick wipe down.
plus the car cant get as clean unless you have a hose :) but the in the winter its too cold to keep the hose turned on :(

that water turns to ice if it touches the ground :(
plus the undercarriage is what needs it the most in the winter time!

1-2x week in the winter and once a week the rest of the time.
have to keep it looking good for the customers & clients.

inside gets steam-cleaned 3-4x a year for free because I deal with a lot of Car Detail Shops.

when I lived in chicago, i went every weekend. I had free car washes gifted to me and so that made it that much more convenient. i hate paying $20 + tip for a fuggin carwash.

the other night it was kinda warm. . .like 40-ish. . .i was out front doing a little grilling and drinking a beer. . .my buddy from down the street was walking his dog and stopped by. . .while we were standing there having a beer, his dog pissed on my tires. . .does that count??

I won't let anyone wash my car...I wash it my garage once a week. The past month has been so cold so only once this past month.

i have no idea where there's a carwash around here.

hence, my car hasn't been warshed in months. not since the cold weather came. it needs a serious vacuuming too.

With my minivan I think I had that abomination washed like twice in all the years I had it.

Once I got my pilot (which I REALLY liked) I made sure that it was clean, then my husband bought me my current car: It gets washed at least once p/week if not more, at his insistence.

lawngomes probably get them cars pretty dirty, no wonder he insists you wash it, :)

I can't stand my car to be dirty so I was it regularly......Lately I have been a bit slack because of the road construction they have been doing and dust seems to stay on my car...it pisses me off!!!!
Right down the road there is this place that only charges 15.00 for a hand wash and 30.00 if hand wax included. They do an awesome job!

thanks to all the fall-out from the oak trees polinating in this area; i'm washing the pt cruiser daily. green and black don't cut it.......:(

lol @ paying people to wash your vehicles.

why is that funny silly

I work full time, go to gym at night and take care of my son and house all by myself....don't have time for washing car most days...so if I can drop it off and only pay 15.00>>>no brainer there

It takes 15-20 minutes to wash a car. 10 if you make your son help. You are telling me you don't have 10 minutes to spare in a week?

I have all the time in the world. I just have ZERO desire. The 10 bucks is worth it to me not to have to get my hands wet. My hubby actually took my car through the wash because I was too busy working out.
