Large Bath filtration problem

Hi guys I have a problem with 1000ml bath - I use millipore 0.22 and blody plastic start cracking under pressure >?? what hapend
I try to keep solution warm but its so slow ! ! and plastic can handle /
any suggestions ? witch filter is the best for large bath ?
using hend pump ? or electronic vacum ?

Simply you are using to much pressure. A good way to filter without the media bottle cracking is to pump till you get a drip and stop and maintain that pressure. Or you can buy a glass media bottle to put on the bottom.

and P s How long 1L shuld take to filter trugh 0.22 or 0,45

I have found that those plastic receivers crack under just about any pressure. I went to glass and am never looking back. Good luck and plz keep us posted on this bro!

yep on friday Will tray to swith to glass 1 l bottle then hand pump and we have to filtrate about 7l of stuff then will tell you guys how long that take for us

7l wont go through one filter you will need a whatman bell and a liquid pump

yep thanks and we did 7 liter of each difr. solutions in each difr. (fu,,,g millpore shit plastic filters ) they keep braking even with glass I think the temperature of ours filtrations wose to hig cuz some of filter get stick out from glue and solutions start puring like crazzy :/ then we use another one and another one nightmare :/ well 1st time expir. people learn on mistakes

Get rid of the plastic media bottle.. Replace with a quality glass bottle.. Plus what are your mixtures.. Differrent solvents can break down the media
