doesn't doppelganger (sp?) imply evil? I thought it was someone that looked the same but had an evil twist to them.
soap operas use them to great effect as did such great cartoons as gi joe and he man (where is warik?)

YEAH! I remember that episode!!! Skeletor found this cool mirror in a cave that creates a duplicate of someone with the opposite alignment (good->evil and evil->good... wonder what happens if you're neutral???) Anyway, he makes an evil dupe of one of He-Man's friends and the dupe tricks He-Man into letting him into Castle Grayskull and stuff.... but the REAL He-Man's friend is quite clever, and he gets Skeletor to stand in front of the mirror and now we have a GOOD Skeletor (!!!) who heads off to the royal palace to warn everyone. Then He-Man and his friends are confronted by TWO Skeletors and don't know which one is which. So He-Man is like: "Skeletors... repeat after me: 'He-Man is my friend!'" and naturally the evil Skeletor couldn't say it and then He-Man kicked his butt (again).

LOL TOO EZ BONE-FACE...

Uh... I'm going to run along and watch some more He-Man. Night all.

Doppelganger (literally, "double-goer") is the the ghostly double the spiritual (or sometimes flesh-and-blood) counterpart of a living person; as in the Poe story "William Wilson".

Hey happy i can relate to you on the toys.....at Christmas when i was 8 my dad gave me a piece of wood,he told me it was a boat! At christmas a yr later when i was 9 he drove a nail in the wood and told me it was a sail!! Mom told him he was spoiling me! RADAR
