Shepherd mix....he is a rescue from the Humane Society, fourteen years old and still plays like a puppy. I've had him on a supplement program since he was a puppy.

I love german shepherds...great job in rescuing the poor puppy...he seems a bit overweight....put him on a diet bor....he will live even longer.....or do some cardio together...

It's mostly fur, when I bathe him he looks like he lost twenty pounds. The vet actually commented about how fit he was for his age last year. I don't exercise with him because he likes to stop and sniff too much. Luckily, we have a fenced in play area where I live and he has doggie friends. It was funny to watch him play with a female pitbull. He tried to give him the "big paw" slap down he uses with smaller dogs and have it not work. He looked at me like WTF, she was supposed to fall down.

He sheds like crazy, daily vacuuming and piles of fur after brushing. He was a cruelty case, got him at three months. I fully intended to adopt an adult dog, since they will most likely be put down, but he won me over right away. javaguru is pwned by his dog.
