I believe the guys from The Hunted studying Sayoc Kali. I've heard of these guys from my experiences with the Dog Brothers. I can personally attest that Lameco Escrima is considered hot stuff by a lot in the know.
I've personally been in a few knife fights unarmed and just managed to get out of them by the skin of my teeth. And the old addage IS true, "You will get cut." The worst cut I ever got was where I nearly lost a pinky from a guy with a machete.
The Indonesians and Philipinos are really the way to go with knife fighting when you have a knife (although often times you are not instructed on levels of legality and lethality in said classes, something to be taken into consideration).
As for unarmed defense against a knife, I've seen some good stuff. Not going to plug a website, but I highly reccomend you check out the S.T.A.B. program. Top notch material.
