Kitten Killer Gets Year in Jail

Everyday I asses quality of life. Roper, Rogers, Logan, you name it... as a nurse this is what I do.

Here, the ministry of agriculture have VERY stringent guidlines regarding slaughter. I can assure you that if farmers conform then the animals are nor put in ANY unnescary pain.

Unlike the humans I see dying because fuckface Dr's are intimadated by lawsuits prescribing the appropriate amount of narcotic painkillers lest the patient dies from respitory arrest and the family sues the hospital.

Why would farmers conform to guidelines??? When $$$$$ is involved, of course they don't. Slaughter houses should have glass walls.. I've seen what happens and it's pathetic, especially in America...

Hell, just until a few years ago Ford used to crash test their cars with dogs and chimps inside..

People have no idea what goes on..

Really? Thats disgusting.

Here we have PUBLIC roadtests with 'real-life' dummies(weighted appropiatley) by the Ministry of Transport.

Wait. We make Ford cars here:(

I don't think they do it any more- I'm almost positive they don't because people like PETA got pissed and they stopped it. It was done in the past though..

I took a physiology lab in college. The instructor dissected a rat...LIVE (it had some muscle relaxant given to it). That's worse imho than crushing a kitten in a trash compactor.

I have just checked with a retired nursing-sister. She reckoned that we started using dummies in '65.

S H I T ........ that would be ILLEGAL here. I hap;p;en to need a certsin amount of anotomny knowldege(as a nurse) but the only thing I've seen cut up are cadavers(sp.)....... dead HUMAN bodies!

they switched to cadavers pretty wuick

i learnt a lot of what they did to animals.....pretty damn sad, but in many cases necessary, as without that knowledge they wouldnt be able to save human lives

on thing they havedone in the past is purposely cause spinal damage to a cat, causin neurological damage, then drop it onto a running treadmill to see what happens. it obviously got thrown off, while it seems HORRIBLY gruesome (cat died later obviously), it was totally necessary to understand neurological processes in animals

so why was this guys sentence so severe? i hve a feeling parole and appeal will shorten his sentence and its in a less than hi security building. given someone can shoot a deer in its stomach and leave it to bleed rto death i cnt understand why this was so severe even if i hate the peron for doing i and would probably assault him :(

Well, one reason that I think hurting animals should be taken seriously and punished seriously is because MANY people who abuse animals will go on to do something to another human being.

That prison guard was not only killing the kittens but also torturing the prisoner in a psychological way.
That sadistic sucker did get what he deserves.
BTW, i don´t want to know what convicts will do to a former prison guard when no one is watching.
