Killer lower back pump. Please help!!

Hey guys I need some advice here. On my leg days I usually start off with squats and will do about 8 sets in there. Anyways my lower back just starts hurting so bad that I have to sit down in pain because I can't stand until the pump goes away a bit. I keep a close stance while squatting and my form is good but my back gets pumped no matter what. It is affecting the rest of my leg workout and I usually have to avoid stiff leg deadlifts because the pain is so severe. This never use to happen to me until I started my first cycle of fina, test, and eq. Is there anything I can do to avoid this? I even did a few sets of hyperextensions yesterday to loosen up my back but it just made it worse. The pain is gone once I am at home and relaxed so I know it a a pump and not an injury but this pain is outrageous.

Happens to me like clockwork with d-bol, 4 weeks after I am on bam, lower back pump. It goes away after I'm done wit the cycle though. I often have to cut my leg workouts short because of it. It gets so bad I have a hard time sitting in my truck to drive home.

Stop taking fina. Or else, what I would do is take advantage of the tren CNS stimulation and drop sets way back but go heavy (no more than 5 reps).

It's good to know that I am not the only one with this problem. After my last set of sqauts I was walking over to the leg extension machines and I wasn't even half way there and had to sit down immediately or else I would have fallen over because it just kept getting worse. I am going to start streching a lot more here now because there is no way I can endure this for 4 more weeks. Thanks guys.

If you dont want to stop the fina, I suggest to eat less carbs. I did a carb-up on fina after a low card diet, and bang..... lower back pain.

I get lower back pump just from Test & deca so it might not be the fina, dont know how long you have been on or how much weight you have gained ,but for me its when i get to a certain weight around 215 - 220 and the only dif is it stays with me all the time after 215lbs its constant lower back pump and its very hard to walk to far because it will get so tight I have to sit down, last cycle i had the same, I would like to know whats causing this too.

I have gone from 218 lbs to 258 lbs in under 10 weeks. I am doing 37.5 mg of fina ed, test enanthate 250 mg week, and eq at about 300 mg a week. The pain gets so ridiculous that I just want to throw in the towel but I get fucking mad and say I wont let it beat me. The ride home in my small ass Daewoo Lanos is fucking painful as well and I really want to cure this.

I get it myself. After hyperextensions I am useless because of the painful tightening feeling. The last time I tried to drive after leaving the gym I nearly ran off the road at a bend, distracted by the pain. If you have a little time and space for stretching at the gym you should lie down and let it subside.

My back has started doing the same thing since I started Anadrol last week. I did deadlifts yesterday and in between sets I would sit in a chair and bend down in between my legs as far as I could, stretching my back. It seemed to help A LOT. Thanks for the advice Nautica.

You can give milk thistle a try its cheap and effective in warding off the dbol back pain. 3 caps of 750 mgs each is effective in knocking it out in about 30 mins!!! Let me know if this helps!! RADAR

Kidney pain?

I've had the same problem in the past, but only on cycles.

At week #4, I get pain in my lower back. I was told it's kidney pain from the strain orals put on the body. When I come off, they go away in a couple weeks or as soon as I start using Clomed.

Never really had back pain like that from squats or deadlifts.

I feel your pain - stretch. Happens to me with fina and A-50.

Nautica

He is EXACTLY correct! Stretching is the most under-rated and necessary components of maintaining optimal health while bodybuilding!
