Day 7-Arms
Day 8-off

This is because two days off is not enough between squats & Deadlifts. If I DL on Friday my back is still sore on Monday. If I squat on Friday my legs are still sore on Monday. It makes you have to prioritize between the two and I want to concentrate on both.

Anybody, feel free to critique this split.

It looks OK to me. It looks like youll have plenty of time to recover. I guess mine is a litte similar but its a 5 day split:

Mon: Chest,Shoulders
Tue: Back,Hamstrings(DL)
Wed: Arms
Thu: Calves, Abs, Forearms
Fri: Quads
Weekends off
Does this allows my upper body to rest just as much as my lower

GettinSwole, I'm doubtful you even read it much less used it. I was just like you, did the whole Bodybuilder type workout. It took me 3 months of Dinosaur Training to gain what a year of BB training would gain me. Squats, Cleans, Deads, Presses, Farmers Walk, Abs...that's all you need! IT WORKS...

Could you Describe a Farmers walk?
 
farmers walks are when u take heavy dumbells or implements such as air tanks or wood with plates attached and u walk a certain distance for them. the weight is hanging , so ur traps need to work extra hard and so does ur grip to support them. Then u walk/run as far as u can with them. They are best done by going 100 yards with the heaviest weight u can find, but some people go really really far with them, and others go as little as 25 feet. If u do them ur traps will get huge and ur grip will increase a lot

they r typically seen on Worlds strongest man with air tanks and are usually 100 feet, and they sprint with it usually
 
Yeah, listen to what Death on the field has to say. He's a really smart bro, except when he goes on his rants about how Anavar is the best drug ever invented...hahaha. Just a side joke, pay no attention...
