First of all, thank you for reading the following sob stoy. Here it goes, I started a keto diet (almost 0 carbs) 3 weeks ago. The first week I lost weight super fast and got really vascular in a matter of 2 days into the diet. 5 days into it (on the weekend) I broke the diet and binged on chocolate (let's call it a refeed of some sort). Week 2, the bloat caused by the binge disappears by day 3 and on Saturday Im ripped. I look and felt great but following the footsteps of the cat that curiousity killed, I decided to try ALA and "refeed" that night. I had about 8 hours of "refeeding" with chocolate, a personal pizza and chips and fried fish. I popped in about 3 grams of ALA within these 8 hours in the hope of not looking bloated the next day. Well that was a huge mistake! The next day I looked like a blimp. I was incredibly bloated like Id been binging for a week. I was so surprised I posted a thread here and Mr.X calmed me down by pointing out that I may have had an allergic response to so much ALA. I believe Mr.X since the bloat was inconsistant with other after-binge bloats Ive experienced in the past. Well, the next day after the refeed I started the ketodiet again. Now a week has passed since my tragic refeed and Im still holding a bit of bloat. It has gone down a lot but I dont see my weight going down like the previous weeks on the ketodiet. I wonder if the ALA messed something up in me and now I cant lose weight via the keto-way anymore. I mean by day 3 in I have lost noticeable weight and look extra vascular. Right now Im barely vascular and still feel puffy. Any ideas, advice you guys may want to give me will be superappreciated. By the way thanks for reading all this whining
