Karma inflation... How to fix it???

Is this the bookie forum? I think I'm lost.

Lots of good ideas in here and frankly I am left with restating the obvious. If you want to control the inflation then the inflation should be targeted (ie curb the entrence of new K into the system.......not payed for with real monies, of course..=)

there is no point taxing the winnings in the bookie forum as this is a transfer of wealth. karma whoring is creating karma where there was none before and is the sole cause of the rampant inflation

Why are people talking about the bookie forum?
The bookie forum does not create karma, it simply shifts it between, winners, losers and the bookie who runs the line. I dont see how that has anything to do with karma inflation.
If I win in the karma bookie, it comes out of the pocket of the losers or the bookie has to cover it.
People win and lose in the bookies and the totals flow between the three parties but its not a creation of karma like k hitting causes and its a very slow forum.

Its like an office pool, people put money in and then that money is distributed. It does not create a million dollar jackpot from ten people putting five dollars in. 50 bucks goes into the pool, fifty bucks comes out of the event. Same analogy, its not like 50 bucks goes in and then someone wins 5 grand

Karma in has to be gauged against Karma out for a stable system. We have a Karma sink through the store so fresh Karma, aside from purchases, can be allowed into the system. We just need to find a good way to control it.

Agreed on the Bookie forum. Aside from bookies going bad, it's a zero-sum environment.
