What the rest of the world would do if a big Tsunami hits our east coast?
The one theory that say's the east coast might be hit by a tsunami links it to the Cumbre Vieja volcano in the Canary Islands. For this to happen the volcano, which has shown no signs of activity, would have an eruption causing a gigantic chunk of the mountain's western side to slide into the Atlantic causing tsunamis to hit Africa, Europe, South America, and possibly North America. Of course this is counting on a mountain of half a trillion tons of rock to slide into the ocean at one time.
I think that we'll be safe for now.
