Man, that compass I got for hiking will finally serve a purpose! (I have no sense of direction, lol.)

I always wanted a telescope, but decent ones cost almost a thousand dollars. My binoculars should do better than the naked eye, though.

Samoth, I took my binoculars (and a compass) but its best ot use the nakid eye since tracking is a problem with magnification, they move pretty briskly (seem very low)

Yep, the leader faded out pretty quickly..I think that was the Station..not as bright as the Shuttle behind it.

Both were visible for maybe 45 seconds or so and then the first one vanished followed by the second. I was thinking I wasnt going to be able to view it (too much surrounding light) but when they came there was no doubt.
