Just Got Busted by Cops..Advice

Hey, this is my first post. I am a 20 year old college student. Last night I went to a frat party but left to pick up more beer with a friend who is 19. After i bought ALE(Alcohol Enforcement Officers) stopped us and asked for our IDs. I gave him my fake id and i guess it looked real so he wrote down that info and wrote me up for giving alcohol to a minor since my friend was carrying some of it.

Now, I have a court summons in a few weeks. What should I do as the officer wrote down my correct name but incorrect birthdate?
 
If you kill the officer, destroy the documents, and swear your friend to secrecy you are home free baby. Get crackin', you only have a week.

explain what kind of fake id you have? that will help
 
I'd probably tell the truth... one lie begets another... that is personal advice, not legal.

It is a Maryland fake id that has my age as 23 instead of 20. It has my real name and my birthday but three years older. They did not keep it.

The funny thing about this is that you're more than likely going to get off. They have no proof of the ID so how are they going to charge a minor with serving to a minor? They can't. At the most you'll get an MIP and be let off with a ticket and there's a 50/50 chance all charges will be dropped.
 
It probably doesn't but writing a ticket for the wrong reason will get you off more than likely. A typographical error on a ticket doesn't matter, but there's no such thing as charging a minor with serving to a minor. It's like an adult (21+) getting a ticket for MIP. It just can't happen.

If you were smart:rolleyes: you would have known to have fake info on a fake ID. But since they think you're of age see what the penalty is for the charge and figure it out from there. If it's a small fine pay it and change your info on the ID. If you admit to being a minor the fine may be worse, weigh it out!
 
Does the ID contain your real DL # or ID # or is everything on their fake except your name? If you don't even have a Maryland ID, just an NC one, don't even show up to court. What are they gonna do? Call the MD DMV/PD and request your info? They won't be able to find anything.

no shit. you already told us that. where is your real id from? does your fake have you real drivers license number? if not then i wouldn't even show up to court. they can't do a damn thing about it. if you ever get busted for anything again nothing wil happen because they'll punch in your real DL number and it won't show anything.
 
Hey fuckstick everyone just told you what to do so here let me say it again. Unless that fake id has your REAL LICENSE number on it from your VALID LICENSE it MEANS JACKSHIT. Fuck the cops fuck the court date and fuck the ticket you don't have to show up because what are they going to do call up and find out your id is FAKE ANYWAY. Even if you get stopped in the future you give them your real id and nothing is gonna show if they try and say you faked something in teh past just say someone could have used your name they can't prove shit. Stop being a bitch about it and your friend doesn't have to say shit unless he received a mip then all he has to say is he doesn't know you that he met you outside the store or whatever. Sweet lord dude this isn't a brain operation just a lil common sense "and criminal mind" hehe.

Unfortunately I gave it to them. The DL # was on the fake id and was not real. Would they use the soc. sec. # to trace me if i didnt show up?
 
Yes they would. What stupid idiot told ya to give your real SS# witha fake ID? LOL. Jesus Christ you deserve a conviction for dumbness!
 
Isn't the whole point of having a fake ID to have a DIFFERENT name on it? Like not your real name I mean??

Well, when I was younger I had a real drivers license that had the birthdate altered. It had all of my other real info on it.

Take in a REAL ID AND GO TO COURT, YOU HAVE TO GO TO COURT! AND SWEAR TO THE JUDGE THAT YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE OFFICER WAS LOOKING AT! at this point either it will be dropped completely, because of police errors, or you will get a slap on the hand...................BUT REMEMBER: YOU ARE UNDERAGE and NEVER HAD A FAKE!!!!!!!!! they have no proof
