Jets fans

as much as I hate the Jets, I'm glad he signed. For the sake of shit talking, I'd rather play a team at full strength than give them an excuse.

Jets beat the Pats. I'm pissed, but they didn't play well enough to win. But that's why we play each other twice a year.

yeah, too bad that game is at the end of the season when it might not mean anything :D

and the jets will have revis, santonio holmes, and calvin pace

Once Ed Reed comes back watch our D get even better. Looking forward to Steelers/Ravens on Sunday.

Ravens /Steelers is always a great one
BTW I was watching NFLN last night and they were doing a special on the the best things of the past decade and they showed a clip from the 2000 SB where Ed Reed intercepted a ball and ran it back for a TD. Fucking guy looked nothing like he does now, smaller, but fast and quick. Didn't realize he's been in the league this long, man how time flies.
IDK how confident I'd be in a 10+yr vet coming of various knee injuries the past couple yrs, guy just cant seem to stay on the field. Sucks, cause when healthy he was one of, if not the best.

a cornerback no matter how good they are doesn't deserve peyton manning or tom brady money.

period

well, only one other team besides the Raiders are risky/stupid enough to do it and I guess it's your lucky day :) :qt:
BTW what is up with resigning Mangold, Harris and DBrick? Haven't followed

um. they didn't. Jackass. revis contract works out to about 12 mil a year through the first 3 years or so. Not 16+

They resigned everyone but Harris so far and thats only because of the cba preventing him from getting more than a 30% raise per year. he's a second round pick so they're gonna wait till that changes. I expect him to be a jet next year and for many more. Tanny is a genius

even the shittiest of QB's have a few wins under their belt.

you're an idiot. no other way to describe it

8 TD's and no picks through 4 games. Against 3 tough teams in baltimore, new england and miami. There are no starting QB's that have played every game that haven't thrown an interception yet. Including peyton manning who just threw one. and only manning, brady and phillip rivers have more TD's.

not only do you look like a troll, you act the part too

Hard to throw picks when you have so few passing attempts. Stop acting like he's some sort of stud. He's not even in the top 10 in Attempts, Completions, Percentage, Yards, Yards Per Catch, etc.

The Jills sucked, but the Jets continue to suprise me, if LT continues like this and can stay healthy they got a steal.

please continue puds and CW ;)

all those numbers are just indicative of playing from behind and a shitty run game. you continue to know nothing about foosball.

by your retarded logic, shaun hill is a better QB

Might have looked smaller cause it wasn't him. He came to Bmore in 2002. Was probably C-Mac that had that interception.

If his neck and knee are fixed, he's a warrior, he'll be back. Ray had a shoulder injury a few years ago and look at him now. At the end of the Steelers game today when he intercepted the ball, got up and had this crazed look like he was ready to just kill people. I think he coulda played another game. Fifteen years in the league at Linbacker and the guy just doesn't stop.

For CW...This right before Week 1. Rex should have listened.

at 3-1, 3-0 in the division...i don't think he cares.

i bet your boys would love to be 3-0 in the division instead of 2-1.

good win for them today,though.

also, posting any quotes or comments from a murderer who stabs people is irrelevant. it's so funny how you can murder dogs and stab people to death, but if you can run fast and hit people....you're good and everoyne will forget

shut up you loser. the dolphins and pats couldn't do it

go jerkoff to your rainbow sprinkles font

So the Jets crushed the Jills when the Dolphins and Pats couldn't, then the Pats smacked around Miami, which the Jets couldn't

Not a valid argument ;)

jets looked real good this past week

winning big like that on the road is impressive against any team

still not sold on sanchez..the running game is what makes this team tick

lt and greene had over 100 yards + lock down d..thus the blowout

Greene needs more TD's for my fantasy team

it is when you lost to the team you're comparing them to :)

I'm glad the pats won though...i bet on them and the over lol. made some nice little coin

Chad Henne plays like Dan Marino against the jets. i don;t get it. the chad henne yesterday was the chad henne i expect to see.

lol @ dolphins special teams. you know its bad when your special teams coach gets fired the next morning. had to be the biggest special teams pwnage in history

surprising to see the defense and special teams keep them in the game for once. the offense wasn;t that great until they got ahead.

Greene needs more TD's for my fantasy team

don't trade him or waive him. he'll get a lot more work in the second half of the season. similar to what they did with thomas jones last year, they'll do with LT.

greene's lower rate of carries now will mean he'll be fresh in november and december. and the weather will mean a lot of running

I want to see Baltimore make a trade with the Giants for Brandon Jacobs since he wants out. Give them Mcgahee and Gaither.

have you watched a single giants game in the past two years?

that guy is horrible, and injury prone, and has diarhea of the mouth. also an awful contract. the giants would love to make that move

my friend who's a giants fan sent me a funny text the other day when he fumbled. i told him jacobs was a bum

and he goes "yeah. let me fumble, run sideways and backwards"

pretty much sums him up post SB win and contract extension

As you and the Jets know, a running back getting a fresh start with a good O-line blocking can become revitalized. Look at LT. I think Jacobs still has it in him, but not with the Giants and his heart isn't in the game like it was when they won the Superbowl.

While I agree with you on his recent performance, i think it has a lot to do with how he feels about the Giants currently.

he's not that good. mcgahee is a much better back than jacobs is, i don't know why you would want to do that trade.

ahmad bradshaw stole the job from jacobs, partly because he's actually good, but jacobs gave it to him outright. it could've been a RB by committee, but jacobs doesn't get carries anymore. he busted off some good runs against CHI last week, but that was in garbage time against a bears D that had quit.

look at how many carries mcgahee was getting before rice got banged up. do you think jacobs really wants to go to another team and sit on the bench? not saying he'll get an every down back job anywhere, but he could go somewhere and get 5-10 carries a game, he won't get that in baltimore unless rice is out.

Jacobs was a MONSTER for awhile, not sure what happened

Why would Baltimore take him and that contract on when they already have Rice and Mcgahee?
Also NFL teams don't usually swap players for players as it is extremely hard financially

He doesn't run as hard. That simple. He ended up getting injured because of his running style and I think now he got his contract, he doesn't really care as much.

I think captainft is the only person that thinks Brandon jacobs is good. I don't even think Brandon Jacobs believes Brandon Jacobs is good.

and the offensive line analogy to lt is laughable. Bradshaw has averaged 4.7 yards a carry for the past 3 years. It hasn't changed and last I checked the giants still had multiple pro bowlers on their line and still make a conscious effort to run the football. Unlike that garbage group in sd with norv turners pass happy offense

Once santonio holmes comes back, the jets offense is going to open up. he'll have 2-3 TD games with 200-300 yards and 0-1 picks...not every game, but he'll have more than a handful. That said, they're still a running team. The colts throw 50 times a game because they have to. Same thing with the patriots

meh

Well you decided not to talk to me last night, so I had to get your attention somehow

i didn't get your texts till late.

schotty needs to get fired, now.

light a fire under this team's ass. it worked for the cowboys, vikings, the dolphins special teams unit and even the niners offense. I don't know why the organization (and even other teams that were thinking about hiring him) think he's such a great coach. His offenses have been ranked horribly in total offense since he's taken over. he had one good year in 2006 where he was creative and they did well, but other than that he's produced 75% of games where you scratch your head. EVERY single fan's teams hates their OC pretty much, just look at the message boards, but when you have TV analysts and play by play guys also saying the same thing...you know it's not just fluff.

i'm dejected to the point where i really wouldn't be surprised if we miss the playoffs and lose 2 out of 3 and some other team wins out and beat us in tiebreakers. but at the same time, anything can happen. but it's not looking good.

The knicks being relevant again has lessened the blow a bit. the future is bright for the team and it looks more and more by the day that Melo will be a knick (especially if you heard the latest ESPN report)

on nyc sports radio they are saying ryan said he almost went to brunell in the 3rd qtr but held back....

I would have done it. Sanchez needs a kick in the ass. He's got enough games under his belt that it wouldn't destroy his confidence, and he knows that Brunell isn't going to steal his job. Hard to say that old man Brunell would have given the Jets a better chance to win, because he probably wouldn't. But even if you account for the easy drops the Jets WRs had, Sanchez still played horribly. A little motivation (by benching him) might be what he needs with two incredibly hard games coming up against Pitt and Chicago.

12 INTs in the last 8 games. Just sayin'

see this is an old post but jacobs is on fire now..bet the giants are sure glad they didnt trade or cut him

ololo this is why Pitt got rid of this meathead for a 5th rndr
I thought this would be an onion clip but no, it's real..wow

WR Santonio Holmes said yesterday that the reason be came off the field as the punt returner Sunday against Miami was because he'd become so frustrated with how well Dolphins punter Brandon Fields was kicking he begged out of the game, giving way to CB Antonio Cromartie. "It wasn't fun because the guy was kicking it 60 or 70 yards and he didn't give me a chance to get going," Holmes said. "I was upset. I kind of got frustrated and didn't even want to return punts because of way he was punting the ball. "I got tired of him punting. Every time he got back to punt, this guy was standing on his own goal line and he's punting it to our 15-yard line. I'm like, 'Who does that?' I told 'West' (special teams coach Mike Westhoff), 'You can send someone else back there. There's no way I want to return 97-yard punts.' " Holmes will be back returning punts Sunday against his former team, the Steelers. "Those guys know how I feel about returning punts at that stadium [Heinz Field]," he said. "Those guys know if they give me an opportunity, trust me, I'm going to take advantage of it. If they give me a crease, I'm going to take it the house. Feed that to those guys."

You can't make this stuff up

:lmao:

Imagine Wes Welker asking belechick to stop having him return punts cause the punter is too good

damn

yeah but we play the bills followed by the sidney riceless vikings @ home. and get revis, santonio holmes and calvin pace back
:supercool

fins will be out of the race by week 9 with their schedule. pats better hope they can stay alive until murderer's row part of schedule

jets are in the drivers seat. the offense with santonio back is going to be outrageous

:wavey:

If my fantasy season had not ended I would have been glad to have Hillis run wild this weekend. But we are on of the many Steelers fans here in the Midwest and we need this win for the first round bye.

to paraphrase bill simmons, just admit it was you filming rex. if it wasn't you filming, that only makes it worse that your wife had some other dude filming her in fetish videos.

lol @ you trolling chief forums

It was on patsfan.com brah

Interesting tidbit that the pick for Cro escalates from a 3rd to a 2nd rounder if the Jets make it to the divisional round.

Let's go Jets!
Feel the power!
Know the Glory!

From TGG.com
Did anyone else offer a 2nd or 3rd round pick for him? When you trade for a player your trading for that player and for how much longer they are under contract.

Do you have any examples of players being traded for 2nd round picks and were only on that team for one season?

This is the ultimate example of why teams like the Pats, Colts, Steelers and Eagles compete every year, while the Jets give up 2nd round picks for one year rentals.

The defense is old. Bryan Thomas, Bart Scott, Pace, Ellis, Jenkins, Pouha, Jason Taylor, Pryce. Almost the entire front 7 is going to have to be rebuilt over the next 2 seasons. But we got one season out of Cromatie and made it to the divisional round.

it's funny how obsessed pats fans are with the jets

you guys follow us more than your own team

aren't you guys dominant and invincible? Shouldn't you just close your eyes and wake up in February with your super bowl rings? Is jerking off to a picture of Tom brady in Ugg boots getting stale for you all of a sudden?

i post on the TGG and there's plenty of knee jerk reaction morons on there, so quoting one person saying that is really stupid and doesn't prove anything. you are a professional troll

What I find really hilarious is the feigned humility you guys had during the beginning of the season when you lost to us and after your loss to the browns...........you were pretending to take the high road and say it was a rebuilding year. Boy, you guys were awfully quiet...........

but once you start winning, a las the inner jackass comes out again. i'll cry tears of joy if that all comes crashing down in your face

This is about the Jets honeybun
Make a Patriots thread :D

tonight is the night
Colts by 9

IDK
I had to change my pantz this am from pissing myself

You stay classy now

The Jets have a huge task ahead of them. Only a fool would count them out though. The team is loaded with Talent again this year.

Loaded with a bunch of me me me players

Patriots are loaded with a collective t e a m

big difference

I dont see the jets winning next game in foxboro after barely beating indy by a point. Plus rex is running his mouth again and bellichik is a master of using that sort of trash talk for motivation.

When was the last time a subpar qb won a superbowl? 01 Dilfer with that ravens D?
it doesn't happen, it wont happen, it never happens

Stop with using logic bro :D

Brad Johnson 02 Bucs also can be added to the shitbag list

Although Dilfer and Johnson were veteran QB's nearing the end of their careers, they played conservative enough on teams that had INSANE defenses, something the Jets lack.

Not to sound like a hypocrit, I actually have this itch Ravens might pull it off again with Flacco.

I enjoy watching better defensive games over high scoring. Love watching cromarte n revis work, same with hawk and mathews. Wish the browns would emulate balt/pitt D

But yah brady is toying with teams right now. Its pretty fun to watch

ah... i love it.

no one giving the jets a chance, patriots fans already booking their tickets to dallas.

that 45-3 drubbing is the best thing that could have happened to the jets.

it'll be the 07 season all over again when the castle comes crashing down for patriots fans.

that cockiness will be gone quicker than clearance sale cargo pants at a Boston based Old Navy.

i can already predict the reaction. "it was a rebuilding year anyways".

keep underestimating us please........i have a feeling you won't want to read the papers or turn on sportscenter monday morning
