I can relate...
My father-in-law passed away on Nov. 15 from Cancer. Me and my wife had been taking care of him. Then my father got a staff infection from a back operation he had and in a days time passed away one month later to the day on Dec 15.
The saddest part is we used to be really close until my stepmother finally came between us. She had always been a bitch to me and my brother, finally I told my father, "I've always blamed her for the way she has always been, but you're my Father. You need to stand up for me and my brother." He chose her over us. So for the last 3 years we haven't had much contact. I was holding his hand when he took his last breath.
Now it's been nearly two months. My stepmother told us, the last thing your father would want is for us to get along. She has also refused to let me or my brother, read, see, or tell us anything about the will. What a bitch!
I feel for you. My prayers go out to you and your family.
