I was raised old fashioned like. I hold doors open, get out of my chair if one is joining the table, allow them right of way whilst walking, etc.

Fucking nobody says thank you anymore. I thought it was just an LA thing but I noticed it in a few different cities.

From now on Im going to go out of my way to close the door when I see a woman coming. If Im going through one of those swirl doors, once I get into the building Im going to use something to obstruct the movement of the door therefore trapping them inside.

Don't let inconsiderate and ungrateful people change who you are or bring you down to their level. If they don't appreciate you forget about them and move on with your day or move on to the next person.
