I asked before about something like County Bobs you said before you knew how to make steak sauces that put Country Bobs to shame. I haven't needed any for the stuff out of your book, but I'm not the only one cooking sooo.....
Got any recipes for steak sauces?

Ingredients:
8 ounces top round steak, 3/4 inch thick, trimmed of fat, you can substitute
chicken or shrimp for this if you like. It’s a cool way to mix things up
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
4 cups mixed Asian greens or mesclun greens
1 cup sliced snow peas
1 cup sliced red bell pepper
1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
1/2 cup chopped cilantro leaves
1/3 cup thawed shelled edamame. (Pea pods guys’ pea pods)
1/4 cup Sesame Tamari Vinaigrette (it’s low in calories, fat and sodium, with roasted nut and citrus flavors, it goes with Asian salads or chicken meals). Ask for it at almost any store its easy to find and once you get some you can use it on all kinds of meats and salads. You will love it. (Well worth it.)
Directions:
1. Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. Coat a small nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium heat. Add the steak and cook about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let rest for (at least 5) minutes before slicing.
2. Combine greens, snow peas, bell pepper, cabbage, cilantro, edamame and vinaigrette in a large bowl. Toss to coat. Divide between 2 plates. Top with the steak.

you can use the grill for the steak on this one. Also use half serving of steak and half serving of shrimp to make it a surf and turf type dish.

Hey needto can't you give us a breakdown of calories/protein/carbs and fats with these recipes?

I will do all of you one better. From now on use this site. It allows you to take any recipe you make and find out the brake down for it.

http://www.nutritiondata.com/user/registration/thankyou?returnto=/pantry

So if you use it all the time any thing you make you can get the brake down of it . Sites bad ass once you learn to use it.

As a snack this works for me: 10 grams of 100% cocoa, splenda to taste (tablets, dissolved in hot water) and dash of milk

No sugar (except for milk) hot chocolate - and what's more pure cocoa is actually very good for you

its is do to the PE.A content, "Amines" associated for good mood:)

Cinnanom can also be used for a similar purpose. Both cinnamon and cocoa have incredible ORAC (antixoidant measure) scores. Cocoa is also a nitric oxide agent

good info!

Cinnamon also can lower plasma insulin levels, good idea to have Cinnamon with carbs like R-ala

I now basically use the cocoa hot chocolate idea with oatmeal. I have always used cinnanom with oats for the reasons u gave (improved insulin sensitivity; but there are also cholesterol benefits too)

(1) 60g oats; 30 cocoa; 5 cinnanom; 1 glass milk; 30 PP (splenda to taste). This is a shitload of cocoa, but I love the rich taste

Delicious - 530 cals; 54P; 74C; 9F

Cocoa and milk are 2 products that always make me feel better too. Never had any, any issues with milk - the only side effect to not drinking milk for me is increased muscle soreness.

I have been loving me some protein pudding. Well thats what I call it. I know most people prob already know what it is but here it is.

FF vanilla yogurt, anpb, and vanilla or chocolate protein powder. Mix it all up in a bowl and chow it down. Simple as shit but pretty good.

Sounds good need2. Unfortunately, in Australia every diet yogurt/milk/soft drink uses aspartame not splenda. Limits tasty options. At least protein powders here normally use splenda

damn needto, i am DEFINITELY buying your book once i get my scholarship funds from my school. I'm a cooking rookie and you got so many great freaking recipes!!!!
