Its official...........I can't cook

last night at about 3 am i get the munchies, the only remendy was popcorn ,these came in their own pan with a metal handle on them ,so i turn on the burner, after a few minutes i hear it start popping ,i shake it but nothing is happening ,so after another 3 minutes the paper top burns open and black popcorn starts jumping out ,(did i mention the white smoke that filled the kitchen?) it must have gotten so hot even the seeds were getting the hell outta there.sooooooooooooooo conclusion, there was no way i was eating this stuff ,BUT!!!!! good fortune I had a second pan, this time i read the instruction, Duh! you are supposed to remove the paper top to expose the foil that is wrapped up in there. second attempt went perfectly ,the only problem was i had enough popcorn for 3 more people, watching the foil expand while it was popping i was thinking as it got bigger & bigger that it was gonna fly like the baloon in the movie "around the world in 80 days" and after all that happened i was in no mood to chase it down!

Baking is harder than cooking imo. You must be precise in the ingredients and you have to really be careful when you tamper with a recipe. Cooking is more of an art.
