brief summary:
solid lifting history, age 31, few months off from
work nothing to do but train. taking some good supps
and eating a shitload, looking to gain some weight...so, with a lotta free time i've been running alot, proly 25 miles a week...just mellow 9ish mile times, 5 miles a time.
not getting too winded, but still breathing.
think that's eating into any gains i may make?

Yes. The way I look at it is by comparing athletes. Runners vs. Sprinters. Which body type do you want? Exercising slow twitch muscles too much can cause fast twitch muscle to break down. When I'm trying to gain size, I'll lift a shit load and do HIIT for "cardio".

yea but i wouldn't quite call myself a runner...jogger more likely.
i'll proly have to sacrifice a few lbs, i dig jogging too much to quit.
proly worse habits out there :(

I'd be more concerned with the pounding on the joints and feet than the decreased gains. During my peaks I cycle 125 miles a week but some days I either skip or just spin very easy indoors. I rarely ride hard more than 2 days in a row.
