Is there any difference between the ALA products?

They are not the same. AF's product is r-ALA, the other product is straight ALA. Further, AF's product is much cheaper with the discount code (afdiscount).

The racemic ALA should be used with biotin if you're going to use it. Although I don't know why you would use it.

big price difference really...
especially if ordered in bulk and capped yourself..

racemic ALA is trash when compared to r-ala

maybe. but it still does the job. why get something thats more expensive when regular ALA does a good job? its all in the diet anyway

ALA does not do as good a job, far from it. R+ lipoic lowers serum insulin, Racemic raises it. with respect to glucose clearance (the second most important effect) it takes about 3-4 times as much racemic as R+ to get a similar effect

though agree that diet is important, the use of R+ just makes the restrictions of a good diet much less onerous.

true. which is why it is recommended to take 3-5g of ALA a day. and 50g for $14.00 wont drill a hole in your wallet either

that 14$ seems like a deal. but...

1. thats un capped
2. thats 14$ for 10-15 days
3. glucorellR, with biotin is, 24$ for 15-20 days (at highest end usage)
4. there is still the insulin issue.
5. there is also the degradation issue for powder lipoic (oxidation)

hmm ulter did tell me gulcorell is fairly cheap. $24 for 15-20 days isnt bad. out of curiousity, why dont you sell it in powder form? it would be cheaper.

oxidation issues. and most people dont want powder.

btw- though it is posted all over.. literally.. you need to use the .... afdiscount ... code to get the 24$ price.

Dude, he JUST gave it to you in the post right above yours.
