OMEGA! The UPS man just left my door and I have the good stuff in my hands right now. Gonna use it in a couple of hours before leaving for my workout. And I must say so far, this stuff smells awesome.
One question if you will... do you recommend ISO-AGB IMMEDIATLY post workout (with malto/dextrose) or with a post workout meal. (ei: immediatly after workout or 1 hour later). I have to use this stuff wisely, ya know?
I haven't tried it in milk yet ( I'm lactose intolerant) but in water this stuff tastes damn fine. Definatly has a little "bite" as you say, maybe lacks a bit of sweetness, but is certainly a BIG step up from the old formula. I upped my dosing to three tablespoons daily (as oposed to 3 teaspoons) and will update with results very soon. I can't wait to have my next serving.
Also - just a point for the readers out there. There is a cute little scooper in the EnerG - but its only a TEASPOON scooper NOT a tablespoon scooper (I think). Use a tablespooon - better results (at least for me).
any more updates on when volumeDNA will be ready? i thought it was today but didn't see it on AF's site yet. i'd like to get it with the EnerG in the same order.
OK. I've been using the Milk+IsoABG+EnerG combo for about a week now. My dose is 6~12 ounces (guessing) of milk, 1 scoop of IsoABG (using the scooper that came with the tub) and 1 HUGE tablespoon of EnerG (using a regular large spoon). I take one first thing in the morning and one just before bed. I'm getting stronger and recovering faster - as with the last time I tried the old G-Plenish (love the stuff). The REALLY cool thing though is this:
I have NEVER, NEVER EVER, NEVER EVER EVER been able to mix any protine shake with milk. NEVER. No matter WHICH I tried. I would just get sick and lose more than I gained. I'm not sure what it is about the IsoABG/EnerG/Milk combo tho (and I was scared to try it at first - but I took a chance) I don't get the least bit sick. It goes down fine and sits GREAT. I'm just guessing that maybe it is the purity of the IsoABG? I have no clue - who cares ? FYI for those interested - I'm not generally lactose intollerant - just protine shake and milk intollerant. Its gotten to the point that I even tried 2 T-Rexes just after taking my morning shake. For those not familiar - TRex causes GREAT stomach upset for some people (like me) on an empty stomach. Its been fine the last few days. I'm super impressed. I think this might be the "sweet" spot of protine shakes for me.
