So then after an injection, if I do a set of squat thrusts, it will help with absorption? I have always thought that you were suppose to wait awhile before working out after an injection. I need to study up more. Thanks in advance.

yes bro do your shots before you work that muscle if you can, it will speed up exorbtion, and help it dispearse into the muscle better....

Hey, thanks a lot! I should know more than I do but I spend too much time on the chat board.

I.M. injections deposit medication deep into muscle tissue. This route of administration provides rapid systemic action and absorption. I.M. injections should not be administered at inflamed/irritated sites or at sites that contain scar tissue or other lesions because these conditions impair peripheral absorption. Exercise that occurs at the same time as the injection may speed up absorption, due to increased circulation to the injection site from underlying muscle activity.
