^ or can it onset, after one day of too much?

for instance,

I missed my workout tuesday, slept 9 hours tuesday night, and decided to double up on wednesday, and do back/forearms AND abs. I did abs am and back/fa PM.

I fell asleep about 11, but was back up at 5AM Thursday.

I felt like a heaping shitpile all day thursday, (rest day)... Fell asleep at 10PM thursday night, but woke back up at 230, and could not go back to sleep.

I feel like I'm wired on something.

Am I overtraining in general, or did I just overtrain that day?

(nobody even has to tell me, not to do this again :D)

yeah i would never double up. its just not a good idea in my opinion. i would rather take the extra rest and come back stronger.........

well for doulbes if are doing bodybuilding stlye work outs, i would say yes mabye doulbles are bad unless u have alot sythenic chemicals for recovery. but for olympic lifters u can train all the time :)

really depends on the volume I can do doubles but it would most likely be two excercises each workout, not much more than 8 sets each. Just rest another day and come back with a Fury

overtraining wouldn't sneak up on you like that. If you're really overtraining you'd feel it for more than a day.
