Is my HRT clinic f***ing me?

Hey everyone,
I decided to join this website after scanning the web endlessly for info related to gear. I like this website.
I am a newbie starting out on a journey , so I have a lot to learn. First, a little about myself. 39 years. 6'3" 215lbs. I like to think that I am in pretty good shape,but recently I have felt the effects of time. I guess the big 40 is coming up, and I want to look my best for it.
So I started looking into HRT. I found a clinic and paid for the program. Did the portamedic and got the package.
I got all of the sharps, ancillary meds, but I only recieved 1/2 of the test cyp.
The clinic said the pharmacy would only give out 6 months of test cyp. I was supposed to get 5 10cc vials, but only got 3.

I am on 200mg/week. Program is supposed to be for 15 months and I know that might seem weak to hardcore bros, but I want to take it slow. I can always increase after a couple of months pass.

Anyhow, does that sound right? My thought is why did I get all of the sharps and ancillaries, but 1/2 test cyp?

Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated.

You will probably feel a little better on 200mg/wk than you would natural, just inject twice/wk and take an anti-e. Is follow-up blood work part of your program? I am not sure what you mean you were ripped off ... pharmacies can only dispense so much at a time so as long as you still continue after the six months, what's the diff? clarify

In general the HRT programs are going to cost much more than a do-it-yourself underground project but of course you have the comfort of knowing you are within the boundaries of the law

I did the HRT thing and I was only 25 at the time. Its a good way to start but it wont be long before you'll discover much cheaper alternatives. I found this board after going through a local HRT doctor and Ill tell you, I learned a whole hell of alot more here than I ever did through my doc. One good thing about it, you'll always have the script to fall back on, keeps it legal in case of a drug test or other inquery. It's good way to get your feet wet thats for sure. Only complaint I had was the lack of advice that was provided by my doc. Pretty much handed me a script and set me lose. Thank god for this board.

I took my 1st shot today. I was so friggin scared, my girl had to do it for me.
No pain though. I felt a little sluggish probably because of nerves.

Back to your question. my regular doc is going to do the follow up blood work. However, I am not sure when to do it. I have tried calling the clinic the last 2 days to get consults, but I get a message that the call cannot be answered. They are near Miami, so I dont know if the hurricane took them out jk or if im getting brushed off.
I dont want to jump to conclusions or make accusations. I have tried all of their phone numbers and I get the message "cannot be answered" or it just rings.
I want to have a do-it-myself project,but I paid for the program already and joined this site after. So I am really learning a lot.

I agree with you 100%. If you go to the website, you get the impression that they are going to give you all kinds of advice and pretty much guide you along the way, but when I was ready to do my 1st shot, I had questions about sharps and tried to call. Nothing for the last 2 days, so I said f**k it and worked off the info from the web. went well !!!

if you do two shots a week of 100mg a peice (for a total of the same 200mg a week) you will be able to keep your test levels more even... just do a 100mg shot on monday and a 100mg shot on thursday or some similar split =) should work nicely to even out blood levels and get a bit better results good luck

Do you have insurance bro? My HRT is similar to yours and it's only 5$ for a 10c/200mg bottle. YOur right about not getting any advice. My endo doc pretty much did the same thing. Gave me a script and said see you in 6 months. My pharmacy eill only despence 1 bottle every 21 days. Could be the reason you only got half.

So you started HRT with no bloodwork? If your just trying to get gear, your wasting your money. If you need HRT thats another subject. Now that you have basically self medicated, you have no idea if you really need HRT! PM me your email and I can send ya some reading material on HRT, what labs you should monitor etc. You can bring it to your doc.

As far as the 200mg/wk. Thats not hrt thats a weak cycle at best. HRT is usually 80-100mg/wk on average. 200mg/wk is a waste if your just looking to get some muscle. 300-500 is more realistic, but not for life long hrt.

You might want to go through the info in the Longevity area. Lots of personal comments about HRT and the various programs.

I'm not a fan of on-line programs. You have entered into a contract that you probably can't enforce. And ... where is the Doc to come to your side if you get some bad side-effects?

I'm with an Anti-Aging Doc and enjoying the full benefits of legal scripts, blood work and consultations within my insurance program ... except fot the HGH, which is out-of-pocket. Big teaching hospitals have this.

I had to take a good look at my diet and make big changes before I got the full kick of the program. Protein up .... fast carbo down. Made huge difference in my blood numbers.

Remeber this please ... HRT is for health, not muscle magazine results. The good news is that at the peak of health with low dosage HRT, proper diet and exercise, you'll look damn good!
