is it unhealthy to eat 6 eggs a day??

One egg YOLK provides you your whole day's requirement for cholestrol. There is no cholestrol in egg white.
6 egg yolks per day WILL raise your LDL (bad) cholestrol.
That is almost unanimous opinion of medical experts in this field.
 
depends on the rest of your diet and your exercise regime. the fat can be handled via aerobics and keeping total cals down, while cholesterol is fine so long as your liver works, since dietary cholesterol isnt the primary determinant of high cholesterol values

(i ahve dozen egg omelettes with 4-5 yolks quite often, its awesome :) everyone thinks im a freak buying 15 dozen eggs at a time :D )

i have two hard-boiled eggs in da mawnin'. maybe 1 or 2 at night.

My grandpa probably ate 6 eggs per day and lived to be 87. Then again, he had 5 heart attacks, 4 strokes and diabetes in his lifetime, so you may want to lay off the eggs yolks...lol.
