GNR were a landmark at that era in time. Their sound was distinctive and powerful, made moreso by Axels very unique voice. I dont think they should make a come back even if it was possible. Its just like a Boxing Champion who makes one too many come-backs.........in the end it takes shine from what they once were. GNR are gone but what we remember is what still influences guitarists and rock bands today. RIP.

It would be a cool thing to see, but Axel lost his mind, voice, and waistline. Slash cleaned up for the most part and will be teaming with Scott Weiland until that dude evaporates.

I'm sure metal and rock will have its place in the future...when a lot of the shit playing now gets old with the masses. Music is kinda like fashion...cyclical.

Axl is the reason gnr got together and broke up. Went a little off the deep end you could say. Of course, what do you really expect from someone who grew up in a strict household and was raped and beaten as a kid by his stepdad? That type of shit probably fueled his talent for songwriting. They had there heyday and many of their songs will become classics soon if they aren't already.
