frankie21, flax in oatmeal is fine. Beverly International has many clients eat their 1st meal w/ a tbsp of flax and oatmeal. In a hypocaloric diet fats can be mixed w/ carbs, actually slows down digestion of carbs. Berardi was wrong w/ his fat/carb seperating theory. although it is a good idea during high carb refeeds/carb loading days to keep carbs low b/c hypercaloric w/ high carb intake, extra fat is readily stored.

That wouldn't be ideal, but it wouldn't be detrimental either. I asked Mr. X this same question and he told me that because the oats were so low glycemic, resulting in a low insulin response, that taking flax with it in the a.m. would be fine.

i agree with the above, flax with carbs is ususally not a good idea, it works well at night with protein and no carbs. Stick to carbs or fats (omega3)! I also had good experiences with it right before a workout! Gives you good fuel!

Bought Flax oil two days ago. The lady at the store was like, >>indian accent<< "o it is completely tasteless and flavorless...put it on anything and u wont even know its there" what an a$$wipe liar...2 lessons i learned from this

1, Flax tastes awful (but u probably need it)
2, never take supplement stores salespeople advice. Its the second time they've lied to me...in 2 visits... i hope their store burns down and they all dai...
