Is Denver the best......

football team in the NFL?

5-1 now. Some fo their opponents are pretty good too.

They are a serious contender. I'm thinking maybe 11-5 or 12-4. Win their first play off game since Elway and get a king sized monkee off of Shanahans back.

Too bad the receivers drop so many passes.

they looked good today. San Diego gets another shot at them in Divisional play.

Broncos rule, if they can stay healthy and stop making little mistakes, they`ll be a force to be reconned with.

I love Denver but I wouldn't say the best team. Indy is lookin' great along with a few others as well. I think they have a shot at the playoffs and maybe the division champions.

And BTW, Shanahan IS the monkey! LOL!

iNDY HAS OWNED THEM IN THE PLAYOFFS!

I'm still not convinced they are the real deal..too early in the year. They start off strong and fold...too often.

Yes I agree on both accounts. But I have been a Denver fan for 20 years, I always think they'll make it. LOL!

Yea....been mostly a fan for about 35 years. The Elways years spoiled some of us for sure. We were always in the hunt with #7 in the game.

No doubt! Johhny 4th Quarter! He was da man!

True, there was never a dull game with Johhny on the field!

ehh....don't know if I would go quite that far.

Remember 55-10? I could only stomach the first half.

Wasnt' Elways fault though. S.F. was a far better team.

Definately one of the top teams right now, they need to eliminate the little mistakes and be more consistant on offense though. They are getting better each game and come out on top despite mistakes. The defense is damn good. They dominated the first half of the game then let off, can't do that against a team like the pats. They still have to beat Indy to prove themselves though.

Colts are the team to beat. Theyve allowed 29 points all season (5 games)
Once their offense lights it up, which we all know will happen, there will be no stopping them.

You had to remind me of that humiliation didn't you? lol!

I almost cried when Denver finally won the Superbowl against the Packers. IMO that was one of the greatest games ever!

Ayyy....that was as good as football gets. Seems so long ago. Sigh.

The most exciting game, to me, is still the first time that Denver won the division. The Drive against Cleveland. Put Elway on the map and put the Broncs in the superbowl.

I remember Craig Morton letting me down, I still say he was still on the Dallas payroll when he threw that game.

indy has also played against some of the most putrid offenses in the nfl this year, i would hold judgement on their d till they actually play a team that knows how to score points

A defense with less than 6 points allowed per game over 5 games is siginificant I would think. Its still the NFL.

Yep...still too early in the year to do more than wonder ... and hope.

I'f have to pick Indy right now. More play off experience and better QB.

I still fear the Patriots. They owned the Broncos in the 4th qtr.

Which is what bothers me about hte Broncos under Shanahan. They do the opposite of what they should.

hamstershaver you are fucking brilliant son

LOL@Mammy quoting his own post!
well this is the first real offense that indy has played against all year and they have already put up 17pts in the 1st quarter
when your d plays the likes of baltimore, clevland, jax, tenn and san fran you better put up some good stats

cincinnati will win the super bowl after the 2006 season
they need to draft like 6 of 7 defensively and they're set

palmer was 27 of 33 yesterday
