Irony of life

Let's be clear, before this gets out of control.

The dangers of steroids are exagerated and misunderstood but they aren't completely benign substances.

In themselves, they do not kill, but excessive use can lead to a host of complications such as high blood pressure, increased platlet count, excessive weight and an enlarged heart -- all of which can kill.

ironhorse went too far and as needto said, he did not heed the warnings. This is no joke bros. When a doctor tells you there's a problem, don't think you can ignore it. They don;t know everything but they know when something's wrong. Don;t be too quick not to accept that anything taken to an extreme can be risky.

I agree 100%. thank you.

Just like most things in life, moderation is the key.

There are negatives to just about everything we do when we lead this sort of lifestyle. Some of them are manageable, some are worse than others... None of us can deny the possible impact we are setting ourselves up for. The key is to play it as smart and as safe as possible.

You are already pushing the boundaries by taking this path in life. Don't be stupid and push them further than you need to.

i think we all kno what we are gettin onto when we do it.... hey everyone here could tell me i'k likely to die from gear but guess what??? fuk it i'm still doin it cos i control me. and thats the way most of us think, whether it be roids, skydiving even rackin lines at a party we make our own decisions i'm sure the guy that passed made his own decisions knowing the riskd involved. yet still did it

To a degree -- yes. But if it can be avoided, why not play it smart?

We all take risks and must pay the consequences, but do you think if ironhorse had the chance of doing less and weighing 20 pounds less and still be alive, don't you think he's take it? That's the point. That little extra promotes the largest risk.

If you win one million dollars, don't blow it all trying to win a one million and ten.

Exactly!

Exactly what I think now after being through what happend to me and seeing ironhorse's story. I think there is always a risk when using, but once you step up the pace you step up your risk considerably. Higher doses, longer durations, and more compounds equal more risk. I also believe the types of compounds used can increase or decrease your risk. Some are just plain hard on the body.
