Interest in a new ANONYMOUS Email service?

Would there be any interest in an anonymous email service that strips your IP address from outgoing messages, and keeps NO logs, with the server being hosted in Canada? It would be a pay service, with rates for maybe 6 months or a year. Just trying to feel out the demand.

It will be like Skuz in that it can be accessed via a POP client (ie MS Outlook, Eudora, Pegasus Mail, etc), and will also have a web interface to check your mail from your browser.

The web server will not be hosted by any ISP or hosting service, it will be built and maintained by me. It will basically be a hole in the internet except for the ports used to receive and send mail.

The system will be set up using RAID for speed and also to prevent data loss. And the ENTIRE thing will be running on a PGP encrypted volume. This means that in the off chance 'someone' does confiscate the system, it would require some effort from the NSA and millions of dollars to crack the encryption and get to the data on the drive. And even then, the only data on the drive would be mails that have not yet been retrieved by the users. There will be NO IP addresses or access logs.

Please reply if this sounds like something you'd be interested in.

Hey man that would be as anonymous as it gets I think, unless you get roasted with your own computer.. Never heard of a server hard drive being pgp encrypted is that possible?

very cool

Yes I would be very interested in using such a facility. I restate my earlier assertion in capitol letters:

Absolutely. And the encryption is just as strong as the PGP we use for emails.

Anyone else have any questions or interest?
