I'm using insulin right now, only insulin. I take it immediately after my workout. I started at a small, safe dose: 2 IUs and have worked up to 5 IUs. I go up one IU every time I take it. JUst started it and probably will ended up taking about 6-8IUs, just depends on how I feel after I start getting into the higher doses. 1 IU per 20lbs. bodyweight is usually good. Remember take in 10 carbs per 1 IU taken immediately after taking the injection. Then take another high carb meal or shake within the next 1 1/2 hr. Some people like to take 1 shot in the morning and 1 after a workout, but since my workouts are in the mornings i will just stick to the post-workout shot. remember stay safe and I suggest going to a website that profiles steriods and read as much as you can about insulin before you start it.
