Calves are not generally recommended because they are very vascular but I have hit calves (no more than 1 cc) and I was fine. A little bit painful though.

i do calves often - just aspirate and you'll be alright... personally, the first ever time i did this, the pain was so bad, i couldn't walk properly but it became tolerable after that.

just one word of advice though: this happened to me when i hit my calf and i can imagine it happening to many more. i once injected after aspirating and everything was fine, however as i pulled out blood shot out. it turns out you can sometimes go right through a vein so that when you aspirate you won't see anything. however when you remove the needle, the blood spurts out... nothing to worry about though as you're not injecting into the vein.

yeah cheers man, i actually had that happen when i jabbed my glute, the phone rang i answered, with the needle still my arse, said hello to my mum, pulled the needle out, and blood started pumping out my arse! It scared the shit out of me! Told my mum i stood on something!

id be afraid to do that basically because my biceps are not large at all. if i had mass in that area i wouldnt be afraid to...thats why i always stick to my glutes pretty much and quads.

Just use a 5/8 pin. My arms are only 16.5" and I'm fine.
